One pet can’t fight in the battledome and volunteer a shift at the NeoHospital. But you can have different pets doing one activity. For example, you can have one Neopet fighting in the Battledome and another at the Neohospital.
There isn’t a cooldown period after a battledome fight, so if you’d like your Neopet to volunteer after fighting you can do that as well.
