Nope! Once you have activated it, all Void Essence will be automatically collected for 1 week. However, the points you've gotten from the collections won't show up until you've visited the plot hub page again, so be sure to swing by there at some point to see everything you got. Plus, you will still need to collect the weekly prize manually.
