All Neopets accounts currently start with 7 free pet slots. Active Premium Members receive 7 additional slots as a perk. Up to 12 more pet slots can be permanently purchased from the NC Mall. This means accounts can have a maximum of 26 pet slots in total. If you want to have more pets, you are welcome to create an additional account. So to sum it up:
- Basic free pet slots - 7 slots per account
- Active Premium Membership - 7 extra slots (14 total pet slots with basic slots while Membership is active)
- Purchasable pet slots from the NC Mall - 12 extra slots (permanent once purchased)
