We're aware of the limitations on how much NP one can hold in their on-hand NP, their bank account, and their shop till (2,147,483,647 NP) and unfortunately we cannot raise the limit at this time. When your hard work leads you to reach the max bank limit, you will run into the system continually resetting your NP back to that amount if you ever try to deposit or earn more NP past that limit. This loss cannot be reversed, so any NP lost in this event cannot be restored.
When you near the maximum Neopoints level, you can do the following:
- Transfer and store your NP on your side accounts through Trading Post, Auction, or Shop (remember that you still cannot use side accounts to make or participate in sales with other players - read our FAQ for further information on side accounts here)
- Invest your NP in Stocks (keep in mind that participating in the stock market can come with its own set of risks!)
- Use your NP to upgrade your Shop or Gallery sizes (these upgrades are permanent and higher levels can get pretty pricey!)
- Invest your NP in high-value items such as Neggs, Stamps, Collectible Coins, etc. (keep in mind that item values can and will fluctuate as the economy changes)
- Invest your NP in training your Neopets and equipping them with rare gear
There's numerous ways to play Neopets, and earning maximum NP as much as you can is only a small part of it!
