The main difference is that the Challenge Track points are earned by playing in the Altador Cup, and points earned that way are directly and automatically applied to the Challenge Track, similarly to the Adventure Pass. The Challenge Track does not require you to meet specific goals (but you can earn more points by completing the specific goals in the returning Achievements feature!).
