There are a few ways to get NC Gift Boxes. NC Gift Boxes are automatically deposited into your NC Inventory when you redeem a Neocash Card (just like Limited Edition Bonus Items). You can redeem your Neocash Card(s) in the NC Mall to receive your NC Gift Boxes. However, NC Gift Boxes can only be used to gift NC Mall Neocash items to other Neopets users.
The number of Gift Boxes you receive is determined by the denomination of the Neocash Card redeemed:
- A $5 Card will grant your account 1 NC Gift Box
- A $10 Card will grant your account 2 NC Gift Boxes
- A $15 Card will grant your account 3 NC Gift Boxes
- A $25 Card will grant your account 5 NC Gift Boxes
Occasionally, NC Gift Boxes are also given out through Gift Box Mystery Capsules, so keep an eye out for when those are released in the NC Mall! In addition, directly purchasing Neocash at $10 or greater packages, will also grant you Gift Boxes. Not to mention, purchasing at $20 or higher will grant a set amount of (not Gift Box-granting at this time) exclusive Mystery Capsules.
For purchasing directly from the NC Mall:
- For buying $10 of NC, you get 2 Basic Gift Boxes
- For buying $20 of NC, you get 2 Basic Gift Boxes, 2 Trendsetter Gift Boxes, and a Mystery Capsule
- For buying $50 of NC, you get 2 Basic Gift Boxes, 3 Trendsetter Gift Boxes, and 2 Mystery Capsules
- For buying $100 of NC (our best value!), you get 4 Basic Gift Boxes, 4 Trendsetter Gift Boxes, and 3 Mystery Capsules
You can also get NC Gift Boxes for free! Playing Trudy’s Surprise daily will give you a chance at receiving a Basic Gift Box. Please note that this activity can only be done on main accounts.
