When you use one of the potions for removing Petpetpets, the potion will be consumed by your Neopet and there is a chance that your Petpetpet will detach – but it’s not guaranteed! Sometimes the potion won’t work at all, and you’ll need to get another one.
If the potion does work, then your Petpetpet will detach…though it is not guaranteed the Petpetpet will return to the inventory. There is a chance it could be lost forever, so use your potions wisely!
You will not be able to use the potion on a Neopet that does not have a Petpet and Petpetpet attached to it; if you try, the potion will not be consumed and it will be returned to your inventory.
The NC Petpet Removal item sold in the NC Mall will always work. When it is used on your Neopet, the Petpetpet attached will always detach, and it will always be returned to your inventory.
The NC Petpet Removal item will not be consumed if you try to use it on a Neopet that does not have a Petpet and Petpetpet attached. If you try, the item will be returned to your inventory without being consumed.
